Sapling for Microsoft Word

Sapling is a spelling and grammar checker that integrates with Microsoft Office and Word.

Sapling's new desktop application natively supports desktop programs, including Word. We recommend using it instead of the older Word add-in.

Get Sapling Desktop

Sapling supports the following versions of Word on MacOS and Windows:

  • Word 2016 (Microsoft Office 2016)
  • Word 2019 (Microsoft Office 2019)
  • Word 365 (Microsoft Office 365)
  • Word/Office Live

Sapling also works on https://www.office.com through browser extensions.
