Sapling for Mac

A grammar checker and AI writing assistant that works across your desktop apps, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and Slack.

Install in four steps

A Sapling account is required to use the desktop app. Prefer the browser? Get the browser extension.

    Open the downloaded file

    Click your browser's Downloads button and open the Sapling setup file.

  2. Dragging the Sapling icon into the Applications folder

    Install and launch

    Drag the Sapling icon into your Applications folder, then launch Sapling from Spotlight, Launchpad, or the Applications folder.

    Sign in to Sapling

    The Sapling app opens and asks you to sign in with your Sapling account.

    Done! Detected edits are highlighted and underlined. Hover over the highlighted text to see suggestions.

Only need Word or Outlook?

Sapling is also available as an Office add-in for Word and Outlook.
