The fluency score comes from a language model that measures how natural and well-formed the text is (mostly grammar and syntax); the overall score, dimensions and issues come from an AI rubric that judges clarity, coherence, correctness and concision. Neither checks facts or originality. Use the Quality API to score support replies, student writing or generated content at scale, or the Sapling MCP server to get the same feedback from an AI assistant.
